SYNOPSIS

 

A man tells a woman a short story about a man who has no heart.

 

 

DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT

‘Storytelling’ is a love story born out of chances. I gave my Greek friend a short story written by my Thai friend about a man who has no heart. Then I asked him to come up with anything in response to it. He later struck up a conversation with his then girlfriend in Greek, a language I don't know. I filmed and followed their activities that evening, not understanding a single word.

 

I then edited the footage following solely my instinct. My actor later did the final subtitles on the film without changing any cuts. The result is an improvisational layered piece on love, heartbreak, and the art of storytelling; written text, real life conversation, and cinema.
